Abstract
Upper extremity motor deficits are a common challenge after stroke or traumatic brain injury and require careful evaluation in rehabilitation settings. The Functional Upper Extremity Levels (FUEL) is a performance-based assessment tool that classifies and describes upper extremity function after a neurological injury in the context of occupations. This manual provides FUEL administration instructions, intervention planning guidance, documentation language, detailed case studies, and more.
